“He Even Sent His Son”

Introduction

Matthew 21 begins with Jesus entering the holy city Jerusalem to the praises of the crowds that welcomed him. “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest.” Next, Jesus entered the temple area and drove out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers. With righteous anger he said, “My house will be called a house of prayer, but you are making it a den of robbers.”
