Elder & Deacon Elections – May 27

Meeting of the Congregation for the purpose of electing Elders & Deacons will be Sunday, May 27, immediately following the 11:00 am worship service. To be held in the Sanctuary. Candidates to be voted on are:

Community Concert – May 20, 6:00 pm

This Community Concert features our Chancel Choir, joined by friends from the Westminster Chamber Choir and Jubilate. Directed by Dr. Christopher Quinn, they will present John Rutter’s Gloria, and Feel the Spirit, a set of seven American Spirituals, with guest Mezzo-Soprano Aubrey Adams-MacMillan. You won’t want to miss this concert as we celebrate Dr. Quinn’s first choir season at First Pres.

Pamela’s Closet Baby Shower – May 13

Pamela’s Closet is running desperately low on almost all baby items. On Mother’s Day, we will host a baby shower during fellowship hour after both services to support this community outreach. Items needed: diapers (especially sizes 3 and 4), wipes, formula, clothes for 1-5 year old boys and girls (including socks and underwear), training pants, layettes. Please bring gifts unwrapped.
