Community Concert Series

Upon the Way of Memories

Join Mitch Sturges, Tenor and Larry Blackburn, piano, on Sunday, June 5 at 7:30 PM for an evening of songs in the main sanctuary at First Presbyterian Church of Salt Lake City. Admission is free.

Put Your Faith in Action on Sunday, June 5

"In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." James 2:17

At First Presbyterian Church we want to be people of both faith and action. Join us on Sunday, June 5 for one brief service at 10:00 AM, before we go out into our community to show our faith through our works! We will celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper, and an offering for the Deacons will be taken at this service. Our regular worship services, which are normally held at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM will not be held on that Sunday.

Youth Sunday May 22, 2011

The Youth Group will lead the worship at both services on Youth Sunday, May 22, as part of their ongoing fundraising for a Mission trip. They will also prepare Buy a Missionary pamphlets, and students will create a bio of themselves that explains what this Mission Trip means for them and those they will be serving. The congregation can read these bios and decide if they would like to sponsor a youth on the trip by praying for them during that week, or offering financial assistance or supplies for the community they are serving.

Easter Services April 24

Come and join us to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ ! Our Easter services will be held at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, and both will feature the chancel choir, traditional music and hymns, brass instruments, and a message by Rev Mike Imperiale. Nursery care will be provided.
