* * * * * SAVE THE DATE!Please mark your calendars for this year’s Ceilidh. It will be held on October 25 & 26. If you’ve never been to our Ceilidh (pronounced KAY-lee), you’re in for a treat! It is our annual Scottish festival, celebrating the Presbyterian church’s roots in the Scottish church. We have great food, wonderful music, lots of arts and crafts, a raffle, a jumble sale (all-church yard sale) and great activities for the kids. The celbration ends on Sunday with our annual Kirkin’ o’ th’ Tartan – a special worship service incorporating the Salt Lake Scots Pipe Band, our wonderful Chancel Choir and pastor Mike’s blessing of the Clan Tartans. Before the summer starts and your time gets away from you, think about how you can help this year. Can you volunteer for two hours during the Ceilidh? Can you go through your house and garage and find good, usable items for the Jumble sale? Do you have something valuable (tickets, gift certificate, time share, etc. ) you could donate to the raffle (Scottish auction)? Are there friends, neighbors, family members you could invite to join you during the Ceilidh or the Kirkin’ o’ th’ Tartan? The Ceilidh committee would love to have your prayers and support to help make this year’s celebration the best ever! Please contact
