October 25-26, 2008 Ceilidh (pronounced KAY-lee; Celtic for “party”) is a festival celebrating the Scottish heritage of the Presbyterian Church. The festival leads into the dramatic Kirkin' o' th' Tartan on Sunday. Featured events include a Highland Dance Festival, Family Friendly Pub, Scottish Tearoom, raffle, silent auction, bake sale, crafts and gifts.
Beneficiaries of last year's Ceilidh proceeds were:Events: (October 25, 2008)
- Tearoom with buffet tea & live music (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
- Pub with Scottish food (including vegan & gluten-free foods) & live music - Hammered Dulcimer Player Marty Smith (11:00 AM - 10:00 PM)
- Highland Dance Competition (12:00 PM - 4:00 PM)
- All-Church Yard Sale (10:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Craft Vendors (all day)
- Bake Sale (all day)
- Raffle, Silent Auction (all day)
- Kid's Korner (all day)
- Concert - Clandestine Celtic Band - admission $5.00 (8:00 PM)
