The 30-hour famine is here! Our youth are participating in this event on February 26th and 27th, and have set up their own donation pages which can be accessed at the link below Youth Special EventsWinter has definately set in, but that doesn't stop us from making a difference! Below are some of the events we have coming up in the next month.
First Youth Council Meeting 01-24-10 12:30 - 3:00 This is our first meeting ever! All youth are welcome to attend. We will be deciding roles and responsibilities, our calendar, Summer Mission Trip and Famine Fundraising ideas.
Game Day 01-31 12:30 to 2:00 pm How good are you at video games? Do you think you can beat the youth leaders? Good luck… we have some tricks up our sleeves. Bring a friend and bring your game! Meet in the Youth Room Downstairs.
Summer Mission Trip Informational Meeting 02.07 12:30 -2:00 Jr. High and High School, parents and Youth Leaders. Come find out where we are going, what the costs (scholarships are available) and requirements are and basically what to expect. Change your life and someone else’s for the better!
Tubing 02.21; Time To Be Announced Kathy Moore has donated 20 free passes to go tubing this month. So our original plan for Blind Car Rally has been delayed. More information will be forthcoming, but save the date!
30 Hour Famine 2.26-27 7:00pm - 1:00 pm at the Church - Make a significant impact on the problem of world hunger while growing closer to God and each other. Start fasting at 7:00 am on Friday, meet at the church at 7:00, turn in your money, have fun, serve, learn about the worlds needs and God's commission for His people, ends at 1:00 pm.
