Helping the Homeless

First Presbyterian Church wishes to make a positive impact in the community. Learn how you can help the less fortunate through the Salvation Army, Crossroads Urban Center, or our own Pamela's Closet.

Salvation Army Sandwiches

Make sandwiches for the Salvation Army  Monthy project provides 600 sandwiches for the homeless. Meets monthly on Wednesdays at 4 pm in the downstairs FPC kitchen. Call Jean White for more information at 801-262-4510. 

Support Crossroads Urban Center Food Pantry

Contribute food and baby supplies for Emergency Pantry. Bring items and place them in the Collection Box in the Fellowship Hall. Volunteer to deliver food to Crossroad’s Pantry. Volunteer to deliver clothing to Crossroad’s Thrift Store.

Pamela's Closet

Pamela's Closet was dedicated on May 13th, 2007 in honor of a member of our church, Pamela Atkinson, who is known throughout Utah for her humanitarian work with the homeless and low-income families in our community.  A support team keeps a storage closet full of items for use by Pamela Atkinson in her work.

Share your everyday blessings by providing Pamela with daily necessities for her homeless friends and families in our community. Donation hampers are available in the FPC narthex and by the church information desk.
